So, I did it again for the first time in 18 months. I facepalmed repeatedly once I realised what I had done, but there was little I could do about it. What had I done? The dread of any RAW photographer, I left the camera in jpeg only mode by mistake!
I had been taking some photos last night of some beyond normal wear and tear to a camera bag for a warranty claim, and left my X-Pro1 set to medium jpeg. How dumb? How stupid do I feel? Very.
Never mind, if I was going to do that with a camera I’m glad it was with the X-Pro1 (which has relatively decent jpegs).
Anyway, to London’s Chinatown. It’s always fantastic to visit and feels like a broken off fragment of Hong Kong in London.
It will be the Chinese new year celebrations at the weekend so the streets are being decorated with lanterns and the street furniture (which is amazing) is being repainted.
If you will be in or near the westend of London on Sunday I heartily recommend going to watch the (amazing) new year’s Dragon dancers.
Taken with my X-pro1, 14mm, 35mm and 60mm lenses.
